How it works? Dexpanthenol, the active ingredient of the ointment BIO-PANTENOL, is transformed in the body into pantothenic acid. The active form of pantothenic acid in tissues is coenzyme A. Coenzyme A is essential for the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, and the detoxification of some metabolic products. At the level of healthy skin, these processes result in the preservation of proper function. It provides the skin with the necessary nutrients, gives it smoothness and radiance, and increases elasticity.

1 g of ointment contains: Dexpanthenol 0.05 g.
Ingredients: Aqua, Petrolatum, Lanolin, Panthenol, Sorbitan oleate.
Indications
BIO-PANTENOL ointment is recommended for: •Skin care after sun exposure; •Irritation and rash, especially on skin folds; •Dry, chapped lips and breast nipples; •Atopic, irritated skin in the pauses between medical ointments treatment; •Skin care in disorders of peripheral blood circulation; •Limited face and body regions: dry and chapped skin of hands and cuticles, cracked heels and feet; •Care for older, dry and tired facial skin.
Dosage & administration
How to use: BIO-PANTENOL ointment should be applied to the skin 2-3 times a day in a thin layer and gently rubbed. Breast-feeders are recommended to apply the ointment on nipples after every nursing. For facial skin care, BIO-PANTENOL ointment should be applied every night to previously cleaned skin.
